30 minute kimono

Do you need a super quick project using less than a yard of fabric? I made this kimono using a 3/4 yard remnant of this Fuzzy Sweater Knit from JoAnn.

You can easily find a kimono tutorial on Pinterest with a quick search. There are so many to choose from, but the one I used was this one. My daughter was at school and I didn't have her measurements, so I needed a tutorial using measurements that were similar to my daughters.

The instructions were quick and straightforward. This is a beginner project, as there are just shoulder seams, sleeve seams, and side seams, along with hemming.

After I had the pieces cut, the sewing time was 30 minutes flat. You gotta love a quick and satisfying sew from time to time!
