The Blackwood Cardigan by Helen's Closet

The Blackwood Cardigan by Helen's Closet is the perfect Fall staple for anyone's wardrobe. It's a great layering piece, and super comfy and cozy.

The pattern instructions were straight forward, easy to understand, with good illustrations. It's also a pretty quick sew, it took me about 1 1/2 hours to get this pattern sewn.

Because it's such a staple, I knew I would probably need more than one in my closet, so I did two! I picked up both of these fabrics from Joann. One knit is a quilted gray and the other is a black and white herringbone knit.

I think I might make another one in a lighter weight knit for a slightly cooler option. It's a great basics pattern!
